Indonesia-based operator XL Axiata has extended its 4G services to the West Kalimantan region. According to the operator, around 120 BTSs have been deployed to roll out services in eight of the 14 major districts in the region, namely, Pontianak City, Kab Kubu Raya, Kab Ketapang, Kab Pontianak, Kab Bengkayang, Kab Sambas, Singkawang City and Kab Sanggau. Further, the operator plans to expand its 4G services not only in big cities, but also in medium and small cities in 2017.
