The Viettel Group has won several awards at the IT World Awards 2017 held in San Francisco, USA. The telecom provider has won awards in six categories including over-the-top (OTT), big data and network security. With the increasing number of households using computers and internet in Vietnam, the country’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector is developing and its global ranking is expected to move up.
The IT World Awards is an annual award ceremony organised by the Network Products Guide to honour outstanding achievements in the global ICT industry. It was instituted in 2006.
