Vietnam-based mobile operator Vietnamobile has expanded its 3G network in 63 cities and provinces of the country. The operator had signed contracts with equipment vendors Ericsson and ZTE for network expansion. The operator had initially launched commercial 3G services in December 2011 in HCMC, Da Nang and Hanoi. The coverage was subsequently expanded to Ba Ria-Vung Tau, An Giang, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Dong Thap, Long An, Dong Nai, Thai Nguyen and Binh Duong.
