Thailand-based True Corporation has awarded ZTE Corporation a contract for rolling out three networks under its project on the deployment of wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology. ZTE Corporation will be responsible for rolling out around 75 per cent of the operator’s networks to strengthen its 100G/400G backbone networks in Thailand. The new networks will enable True Corporation to deliver ultra-large-capacity optical transport network cross-connection and ultra-long-distance transmission services. Further, True Corporation expects the WDM network to support the growth of its 3G, 4G and fixed line operations in the country.
