Test runs are expected to begin on Cambodia’s western railway line linking Poipet in Banteay Meanchey province to Battambang. Thailand has finished works on Aranyaprathet district in Sa Kaeo province. Works are under way on the 130 km western rail line, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2018. However, the line is yet to be repaired at an investment of $20 million.
