Telenor Myanmar has officially expanded 4G LTE services in the 1800 MHz frequency band in Kachin state’s capital Myitkyina and the nearby town of Waimaw. Telenor introduced 4G LTE services in Yangon last week. The company’s network covers 260 sites in 15 townships in Kachin state. As part of the 4G LTE launch in Myanmar, the company is offering a special month-long promotion with online TV video platform Pyone Play, which offers customers live streaming and replay of popular content from some channels. Users will receive 300 MB per day for a period of seven days.
