Telenor and Myanmar Net have jointly launched the A-wa-thone Data plan for Telenor customers. The data plan comes in three packages, though all include unlimited access to Myanmar Net Wi-Fi coverage areas in 21 townships in Yangon and Mandalay (18 in Yangon and 3 in Mandalay). The data plan subscribers can opt for a 300 MB, 500 MB or 2 GB pack, each having a different validity period.
Customers can access Telenor’s internet network, and can switch to Wi-Fi with unlimited data usage when in the coverage area of Myanmar Net. Telenor Myanmar currently serves more than 19 million customers across the country. Telenor’s 4G network covers 140 cities and towns in the country.
