Sunway Construction Group Berhad (SunCon), Gabungan AQRS Berhad and WCT Holdings Berhad have secured contracts of a total value of MYR 3.99 billion from Prasarana Malaysia Berhad for the construction of the Klang Valley LRT-3 project in Malaysia.
SunCon has secured a contract valued at MYR 2.18 billion, WCT’s contract is valued at MYR 640 million and that of Gabungan AQRS is valued at MYR 1 billion.
The scope of work includes the construction of a 9.2 km long viaduct, six stations, a cable-stayed bridge over the Klang river and two park-and-ride facilities at Pasar Besar Klang and Sri Andalas.
