The Singapore LTA has invited bids for the construction of tunnels and related facilities for the Singapore end of the HSR project connecting it with Kuala Lumpur. The bids for the design and construction of twin-bored tunnels and other facilities were called on April 6, 2018 while those for design and construction of cut-and-cover tunnels leading into the Jurong East terminus were invited on April 11, 2018.
