Seven Indonesian banks will disburse a syndicated loan worth Rp 9 trillion to finance the Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar segment of the Trans-Sumatra toll road project. The banks are  Bank Mandiri, CIMB Niaga, BNI, BCA, Bank Maybank, Bank ICBC Indonesia, and Bank Permata. The loan has a grace period of seven years and a maturity period of 15 years. The Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar segment of the toll road is being carried out by Hutama Karya along with Sarana Multi Infrastruktur. The toll segment, which is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rp16.7 trillion, is expected to be completed by 2019.
