The state government of Sarawak has announced plans to deploy a total of 130 electric and hydrogen-fuelled buses on 27 routes in cities including Kota Samarahan, Batu Kawa, Samajaya, Santubong and Telaga Air by 2021 as part of the Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) programme.
The government has also announced plans to launch a pilot of hydrogen-fuelled buses by end 2018.
