Sapura Energy Berhad has discovered its ninth gas exploration well in Sarawak state, Malaysia. The Pepulut-1 exploration well was found by Sapura Energy’s exploration and production division, together with partners Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad and Sarawak Shell Berhad. The well was drilled and a high quality reservoir was discovered.
