YTL Communications, along with its strategic partner Samsung Electronics, has launched Malaysia’s largest and most advanced 4G long term evolution (LTE) service, as well as the country’s first voice over LTE (VoLTE) service. The strategic partnership will allow YTL to provide network equipment for 2.3 GHz and 2.6 GHz frequency bands, smartphones and services such as deployment, optimisation and maintenance. The VoLTE service delivers clearer high definition quality voice calls and the ability to share multimedia like images or website links during calls.
