The LTA of Singapore has awarded a contract to Quek and Quek Civil Engineering Pte Limited for the construction of a new vehicular interchange at the Senja/Kranji Expressway (KJE). The new vehicular interchange will provide direct connection from Senja Road to both bounds of KJE, thus providing greater accessibility for motorists travelling to and from the residential estates within Bukit Panjang in the future. Further, as part of the project, the road network at the Senja Road/Senja Link and the stretch of KJE between the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) and Yew Tee flyover will also be widened. Construction works are expected to commence in early 2018. The project is scheduled for completion by 2022.
