The four-lane 2,680 metre Pulau Muara Besar bridge is expected to be completed by April 2018. The project is being implemented by Second Harbor Engineering Company Limited, a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Limited. The scope of the project also includes the development of power, telecommunication and water pipeline networks. The estimated cost of the project is $194 million.
