Pöyry, an international consulting and engineering company, has signed a contract with UITM Solar Power Dua Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Universiti Teknologi MARA, to develop a 25 MW solar PV project in Malaysia. The project has been awarded through competitive bidding; however, the value of the order has not yet been disclosed. The project is a part of UITM Solar Power’s endeavour to develop large-scale solar PV plants throughout the ASEAN region.
