Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has inaugurated its first biomass power plant in West Kalimantan having a capacity of 15 MW. It had set up the plant in collaboration with Rezeki Perkasa Sejahtera Lestari. The plant, which uses agricultural waste as fuel, is projected to supply 74 million kWh of power annually.
