Philippines-based telecom operator PLDT has extended its fibre-to-the-home network to parts of east Metro Manila. The operator has deployed more than 70,000 new lines in Antipolo, Caloocan, Cainta, Marikina, Pasig, Pateros, Taguig and Taytay. Further, it is planning to offer video streaming services through its streaming platform, Roku, which provides TV content and films from more than 100 popular channels including Netflix, iflix and YouTube.
