Malaysia Airlines Berhad has finalised its order with CFM International for the supply of LEAP-1B engines to power 25 B737 MAX aircraft. The order is valued at more than $630 million and delivery is scheduled to begin in 2019.  The company also holds purchase rights for an additional 25 aircraft. At present, a fleet of 54 CFM56-7B-powered B737-800 aircraft is owned by the operator.
