The Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ministry of Transportation, and JICA signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to fast-track the development of Patimban port in West Java. The construction of Patimban Port will be funded by the Japan government through JICA with the Ministry of Transportation as the executing agency, and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works as the implementing agency. The loans for the development of Patimban port amounted to a total of JPY 118.9 billion (IDR 13.8 trillion).
