Philippines-based Globe Telecom was recognised for its exceptional sustainability report in the Eighth Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ISRA). Globe won the ISRA Best Sustainability Report in the Philippines Award for its 2011 integrated Annual & Sustainability Report (ASR). Exploring the theme – “Revolutionise total customer satisfaction through transformation brought by network modernisation and cultural reformation”, the ASR covers company’s operations and that of its subsidiaries in the Philippines. It contains data pertaining to Globe’s performance and the impact of its different business processes on the environment, society, and economy.

ISRA honours organisations that publish and develop their sustainability reports based on the global reporting framework provided by the National Center for Sustainability Reporting, an Indonesia-based independent organisation, which is involved in assisting, developing, measuring, and reporting on the implementation of corporate sustainability in the region. This is the first time that Indonesia’s premier sustainability reporting award has included other Southeast Asian companies that were recognised for their sustainability reporting. In the coming years, ISRA will be named Sustainability Reporting Awards (SRA).
