Indonesian national carrier Garuda Airlines is now considered amongst the best airlines in the world, consistently winning industry awards year after year.

The company has secured several awards across commercial and service categories. It received “The Highest Top of Mind Brand, Category Air Transport” and “Brand Used More Often, Category Air Transport” by Warta Ekonomi, under the commercial category. In the service category, the company received ”The Net Promoter Score Leader for Airlines Category” by SWA.

In spite of being hit by financial and operational difficulties that caused its service standards to suffer severely during late 1990 and early 2000, the company initiated a series of programmes, dubbed the Quantum Leap expansion plan, to turn the struggling airline around. Since then, its performance has consistently improved manyfold each year, earning it the praise and awards mentioned above.
