The Philippines government is planning to build the new terminal at the Clark International Airport in Manila on a hybrid PPP model. The PPP project involves development of a terminal building spanning 82,600 square metres, with a capacity of 8 million passengers per year. The project is expected to cost PhP 12.55 billion and will be developed through central and state funding. It will then be handed over to the private contractor for O&M. Once construction begins, the new terminal is scheduled to be operationalised by 2019. The project was recently approved by the NEDA.
