The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) is planning to look for a new location for Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) as its plans to establish a facility at Clark were met with opposition. Several groups have argued that Clark is not a suitable site for the airport, as it is far away from the country’s capital. DOTC wants a new location for Naia as the airport has been struggling to keep up with the rising passenger demand due to space limitations.
