The CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Company signed a $192 million contract with Malaysia’s transportation ministry to supply 13 hybrid EMUs and nine modern super EMUs. The EMUs are expected to be delivered by end-2018. The trains will have a maximum speed of 100 kmph and capacity to carry 500 passengers. All the units will be manufactured in Malaysia.
