Cellcard has retained its position as the network with the highest download speeds in Cambodia. This was revealed in a report by wireless coverage mapping firm OpenSignal. The report relies on the feedback submitted by users voluntarily when they download its mobile application.
The OpenSignal analysis is based on over 100 million data points collected from nearly 12,000 local cellular service devices between October 2, 2017 and December 31, 2017. It analysed companies on six categories, namely, 4G download speed, 3G download speed, download speed overall, 4G latency, 3G latency, and 4G availability.
Cellcard secured first place in four of the six categories. The Cellcard network has improved considerably, which has resulted in a 400 per cent increase in average mobile data usage over the past year.
