The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has signed a THB 4.26 billion contract with a JV of Scan Inter Public Company Limited and Cho Thavee Public Company Limited for the supply of 489 buses running on natural gas. Earlier, in April 2017, BMTA had scrapped a THB 3.3 billion contract with the Bestlin Group on account of failure to deliver the vehicles on time.
