Binh Dinh Ho Quoc Dung province has approved the development of a VND 1,440 billion ($63 million) solar power project. The Vietnam Renewable Energy project was licensed to construct the solar power plant Tra O in Chau Truc village in My Chau commune. The project will be spread over an area of 66 hectares and have a capacity of 50 MWp. It is scheduled to commence operations by June 2019 and increase the productivity of the national electricity grid.
