Bidding to soon open for development of a container freight station at Bangkok

The Port Authority of Thailand is planning to open bidding for the development of a container freight station at Klong Toey port in Bangkok. The 1.3 billion baht project will aim at enhancing the port’s capacity to handle 120,000 TEU containers per year. The terminal is expected to commence operations in 2019. It is among the eight port projects to be developed under the Port Authority of Thailand’s five-year plan for 2017-2021.
