BDO Unibank has received a number of accolades in 2017 so far from various foreign financial publications including Finance Asia, The Asset, Alpha Southeast Asia, and the Asian Investor. The bank has been ranked the Best Bank in the Philippines at the Country Awards for Achievement 2017. The bank also won the Best ECM [Equity Capital Markets] House award. Further, its subsidiary BDO Private Bank won the Best Private Bank award and its investment banking arm, BDO Capital and Investment Corporation, won the Best Investment Bank award. The bank was also bestowed the Impact Investor of the Year (Philippines) award and the Asset Management Company of the Year – Highly Commended (Philippines) award at The Asset Triple A Asset Servicing, Fund Management and Investors Awards.
The bank also won many awards at the 11th Annual Best Financial Inclusion Awards in Southeast Asia. These include the Best Bond House (BDO Capital and Investment Corporation), Best Equity House (BDO Capital and Investment Corporation), Best Cash Management Bank (BDO Unibank) and the Best Private Wealth Management Bank (BDO Private Bank). Further, the bank was recently awraded the Best Transaction Bank in the Philippines and Best Cash Management Bank in the Philippines awards by the Asian Banker.
