Afzal Abdul Rahim has been selected by CIMB Group Holdings Bhd as an independent director of CIMB Bank Bhd. Abdul possesses a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with electronics. He has been director and CEO of TIME dotCom Bhd from October 2008.
Prior to this Abdul was CEO of the AIMS Asia Group and Global Transit International from April 2003 to October 2008. In addition, he founded the Malaysia Internet Exchange in 2006.
