AECOM Singapore has secured a contract from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to conduct an advanced engineering study for the Singapore stretch of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high speed rail (HSR). The company will provide architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical and other design services. The HSR line will span 350 km and cover eight stations (seven in Malaysia and one in Singapore). It will feature double tracks and deploy trains at a speed of 350 km per hour. The Malaysia High Speed Rail Authority (MyHSR) and LTA are executing the project within their respective territories.
